ABOUT

The Institute for Cultural Cassation (ICC) (Institut für Kulturelle Kassation) is a long-term project established in 1995 by Christian Chrobok. In accordance with the method of Cultural Cassation (Kulturelle Kassation), the ICC is collecting, assembling, preserving and exhibiting memories in whose framework the future can oscillate.

Christian Chrobok is a German conceptual artist. He graduated from the University of Münster, Germany in 1997. Having trained in philosophy, cultural theory and economics, his practice appropriates the language of museum and of other cultural archives. Chrobok has taken part in projects presented at the Taipei Biennial, at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin and at the MoMA in New York.
